Causes of Global Warming At A Glance

Thursday, January 07, 2010

Temperature here on Earth is increasing faster than ever. The rate of Global Warming is increasing on a global scale that cannot be explained by any natural process or cycle. It is now clear that humans are responsible for a vast majority of the damage Global Warming is causing. (EDIT?)Although there are some natural causes that contribute to Global Warming, we can conclude that human's are responsible for most of the problem.

Simply put...Human's Are Causing The Problem.

  • Driving our cars. Just think about the world we live in today. Almost everybody owns a car. However, most of us don't think about the damage our cars can cause to our environment. Each and every single time you drive your car, fossil fuels are burned. As your car burns them, carbon is released as carbon dioxide into our atmosphere, which is a major cause of Global Warming. • Deforestation. Hundreds of tree's are cut down each day from all over the world. However, these tree's that we are cutting are supposed to remove the carbon dioxide from the air. When deforestation takes place, there are less tree's alive to remove the carbon dioxide from the air, allowing it to reach our atmosphere, which increases the rate of Global Warming. Deforestation is a result from human actions. Click here to learn more.
  • Air Pollution from various industries. Our planet's population is higher than ever. With each passing day, approximately 300,000 babies are born worldwide. More people means more food, more clothes, and more housing. Each of which leads to higher production of everything, and eventually more pollution. Pollution is a major contribution to Global Warming since it releases carbon dioxide into our atmosphere. It get's even worse. There are less trees to absorb the carbon dioxide, because of deforestation. Click here to learn more.
